Islamabad: New Chairman of WAPDA, Lieutenant General (Retired) Muhammad Saeed, called on Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Monday.

According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif congratulated Lieutenant General (Retired) Muhammad Saeed on his appointment as Chairman WAPDA following the approval of the federal cabinet. The Prime Minister expressed good wishes for Muhammad Saeed and hoped that he would execute his duties with utmost attention.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar was also present during the meeting.
