Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the newly elected officials of Association of Electronic Media Editors and News Directors. In his congratulatory message, the Prime Minister expressed his good wishes for them. The Prime Minister said the role of editors and news directors is very crucial for promoting positive journalism in the country. He expressed hope that the newly elected officials will play their full role in promoting freedom of expression, stability of democracy and highlighting social issues. Meanwhile, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has congratulated the newly elected members of Association of Electronic Media Editors and News Directors. In his congratulatory message today, the Minister said the department of Editors and News Directors is very important and sensitive component of broadcasting journalism.
