Islamabad: A delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami led by Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad today. During the meeting, the delegation was given an in-camera briefing on the current regional situation involving Afghanistan, Iran, the Middle East, and the Gulf.

According to Radio Pakistan, the delegation was taken into confidence regarding Pakistan's diplomatic efforts and initiatives. The Jamaat-e-Islami leadership was apprised of the steps taken by Pakistani embassies in Iran and Gulf countries to facilitate Pakistani citizens living abroad.
