Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz paid tribute to Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed on his martyrdom anniversary, emphasizing his sacrifice during the Kargil War. The prime minister highlighted that Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed thwarted the enemy's plans and made a significant sacrifice for the nation. According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the prime minister stated that the attacks by adversaries could not diminish the courage of Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed. His bravery, valour, and sense of duty were acknowledged as a role model for the younger generation. Prime Minister Shehbaz affirmed that the sacrifices of Pakistani martyrs would never be forgotten by the nation. He expressed that the martyrs of the Pakistan armed forces and their families are a source of pride for him and the entire nation. He reiterated that the whole nation stands in solidarity with the Pakistan armed forces in their firm commitment to defend the country.
