Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has commended the initiative and efforts of Jamaat-e-Islami Chief and Al-Khidmat Foundation for dispatching relief supplies to Gaza's victims. During a telephonic conversation with Jamaat-e-Islami Chief Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, the Prime Minister emphasized Pakistan's ongoing support for Palestinians.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted that while the Pakistani government continues to provide relief through diplomatic channels, the Al-Khidmat Foundation has launched a nationwide campaign to ensure delivery of relief supplies to Gaza. He condemned Israel's blockade of aid to Gaza, which has caused food shortages.
The Prime Minister assured that Pakistan will persist in its diplomatic endeavors to lift Israel's blockade and resume food supply to Palestinians in Gaza. He also condemned the escalating Zionist actions against Palestinians, reiterating Pakistan's commitment to providing moral and diplomatic support to the oppressed.
Shehbaz Sharif vowed that Pakistan will consistently advocate for Palestinian rights on global platforms, condemning the inhumane acts committed against them. Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman relayed that Palestinian leaders have sought Pakistan's intervention for a ceasefire and food aid, urging the Prime Minister to engage with Muslim country leaders to address the crisis.
