PM Reaffirms Commitment to Strengthening Pak-China Strategic Partnership

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership. He expressed this commitment during a meeting with Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Jiang Zaidong, who visited him in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister conveyed warm greetings to Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang. He also fondly recalled his visit to China in May this year. During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized that both countries would continue to work closely to implement important decisions and agreements made between their leaderships for the mutual benefit of their peoples.

The discussions between the Prime Minister and the Chinese Ambassador also covered regional developments, including the situations in the Middle East, Afghanistan, and South Asia. Ambassador Jiang Zaidong expressed China's view of Pakistan as an iron brother, affirming China's full support in ensuring Pakistan's sovereignty and territorial integrity while also bolstering its socio-economic development.
