During a meeting with President Masoud Pezeshkian in Islamabad, the leaders emphasized their shared commitment to regional peace and the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in addressing outstanding issues.
According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions between the two leaders were centered on strengthening the Pakistan-Iran relationship and expanding cooperation across all areas of mutual interest. Prime Minister Sharif expressed Pakistan's deep appreciation for the leadership of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, acknowledging Iran's trust in Pakistan as a sincere friend, neighbor, and mediator.
