Baku: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized the government's commitment to safeguarding Chinese citizens residing in the country. In discussions with Vice Premier of China Ding Xuexiang on the sidelines of the Climate Action Summit (COP-29) held in Baku today, the Prime Minister underscored the measures being undertaken to enhance security protocols for Chinese nationals. According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif assured that the government is resolute in its efforts to eliminate terrorism from Pakistan. He highlighted the enduring friendship between China and Pakistan, noting that a new phase has commenced to reinforce the bilateral relationship between the two nations. Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang, in response, expressed a keen interest in jointly tackling security challenges. He also conveyed a desire to broaden the scope of the Pakistan-China relationship, aiming for the advancement and well-being of the populations in both countries.
