PM Seeks Austrian Investment in Pakistan’s Key Sectors

Vienna: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has invited Austrian companies to explore areas of mutual cooperation with their Pakistani counterparts in diverse sectors, including agriculture, food processing, leather, textile, and engineering. He was addressing the Pakistan-Austria Business Forum in Vienna.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister emphasized Austria's world-class expertise in fields such as engineering, renewable energy, environmental technology, and advanced manufacturing, which could significantly benefit Pakistan's growth trajectory. He noted that Austria's leadership in hydropower, solar technology, biomass, and smart grid solutions aligns perfectly with Pakistan's ambitions in these areas. Furthermore, Shehbaz Sharif extended an invitation to Austrian companies to participate in sectors like renewable energy, precision engineering, machinery, and industrial automation.

Shehbaz Sharif also highlighted the demographic advantage of Pakistan, pointing out that sixty percent of its population consists of a youthful demographic. He emphasized that Pakistan, with its highly trained workforce equipped with international certifications, stands ready to meet the demand for skilled labor in European countries.
