PM Urges Nurturing New Dimensions of Pakistan-China Friendship for Future Generations

Beijing: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized the shared responsibility of nurturing the Pakistan-China friendship to ensure future generations inherit a stronger relationship than envisioned by past leaders. He made these remarks during a ceremony in Beijing, celebrating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted that the relationship between the two nations has reached an unparalleled high point, making it difficult to find a comparable partnership globally. He metaphorically described the Pakistan-China friendship as a deeply rooted tree that provides shade and bears sweet fruit, marking a significant period in the history of their bilateral ties.

Shehbaz Sharif acknowledged that these strong relations were built over seven decades by the dedicated efforts of the leaders from both nations. He emphasized that Pakistan and China share a unique bond, likening them to "two souls and one heart" with synchronized aspirations.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that with collective hard work, the vision of establishing a mini Chinese economic model in Pakistan could soon become a reality. He praised China's rise to global prominence, noting its success in overcoming poverty and unemployment as an inspiring journey for other nations.

Highlighting the leadership of President Xi Jinping, Shehbaz Sharif lauded China's achievement in lifting 800 million people out of poverty and creating millions of jobs. He noted China's status as a leading economic and military power, attributing it to the country's dedication and effort.

Shehbaz Sharif also praised President Xi Jinping for his philosophy of promoting peace and resolving conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy, calling him a respected global leader.
