BAKU: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has stressed the need to expand economic ties with Denmark through collaborative partnerships. He was speaking with Danish Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, on the sidelines of the COP 29, in Baku, Azerbaijan. Both leaders discussed enhancing cooperation in political, trade and investment sectors, with a focus on agriculture, information technology, and climate change, particularly in green transition and infrastructural development. According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions also highlighted the necessity of building a global consensus on key climate change priorities to protect the planet from its adverse effects. In light of the 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Denmark, the Danish Prime Minister expressed her willingness to work with Pakistan to further strengthen economic ties and tackle regional and global issues of mutual interest.
