Karachi: Mainly dry weather is expected over most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, the weather will remain cold in the hilly areas during morning and night, and day temperatures are likely to remain above normal. Partly cloudy weather with light rain may occur in Gilgit Baltistan during evening and night. According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature of major cities recorded this morning was twelve degrees centigrade in Islamabad and Muzaffarabad, sixteen in Lahore, twenty-two in Karachi, fifteen in Peshawar, nine in Quetta, eight in Gilgit, and five in Murree. In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast indicates cold and dry with partly cloudy weather in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while dry conditions are expected in Jammu. The temperatures recorded this morning were three degrees centigrade in Srinagar, Pulwama, and Baramula, twelve in Jammu, minus six in Leh, and two in Anantnag and Shopian.
