Islamabad: Senator Irfan Siddiqui has strongly criticized the politics of protests and sit-ins, stating that such actions are not in favor of the national interest. He expressed these views while addressing the All Parties Conference organized by the Awami National Party in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, Senator Siddiqui emphasized the significant sacrifices made by Pakistan’s armed forces in defending the nation. He praised their matchless contributions and highlighted the importance of respecting democratic principles while expressing dissent. He reaffirmed that all provinces are essential units of the federation, created with the collective efforts of the country’s ancestors during the constitution-making process.
