Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said the government attaches top priority to the protection of Chinese citizens living in Pakistan. He expressed these views during a meeting with a representative delegation of the Chinese business community, led by Chinese Consul General Zhao Shiren in Lahore today. During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on measures for the protection of Chinese citizens and staff working on projects. Interior Minister said that all-out possible facilities will be provided to Chinese citizens for business. He said that the standard operating procedures for the security plan have been made for the protection of Chinese citizens. The Minister said that from August 14, visas for Chinese citizens will be available online, making it much easier for Chinese businessmen to come to Pakistan. Mohsin Naqvi noted the suggestions from Chinese businessmen and assured them for an early progress on them.
