Islamabad: Preparations to celebrate the 79th Independence Day and victory in Marka-e-Haq on Thursday are in full swing. Special ceremonies have been arranged in the Federal Capital, and all four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to Radio Pakistan, government buildings are being adorned with illuminations, patriotic motifs, and themed floats representing key moments of national struggle. Special anthems have also been composed to mark the occasion, while school and college programmes will incorporate newly developed themes highlighting the significance of the victory in Marka-e-Haq.
In connection with the Independence Day festivities, the Inter-Services Public Relations has released a new patriotic song titled 'Dil Se Pakistan.' The anthem pays tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs and salutes the resilience of the Pakistani people and armed forces.
