Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have commended the security forces for their successful operation against Fitna-al-Hindustan in Awaran, Balochistan.
According to Radio Pakistan, the President and Prime Minister, in separate statements, paid tribute to Major Syed Rabnawaz Tariq, who was martyred during the operation. They extended their prayers for the martyr's esteemed rank and offered condolences to his family.
The President emphasized the enduring gratitude of the nation towards the sacrifices made by its martyrs. He praised the security forces for their courageous actions in eliminating terrorists supported by Fitna-al-Hindustan through an intelligence-based operation. Asif Ali Zardari affirmed that security operations would persist until terrorism is wholly eradicated, reiterating a steadfast commitment to defending the country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the professional skills demonstrated by the security forces in neutralizing three terrorists during the operation. He expressed determination to continue efforts against terrorism until it is fully subdued in the country. The Prime Minister conveyed pride in the martyrs and their families, acknowledging the dedication of Pakistan Army officers and soldiers who work continuously to counteract hostile threats. He affirmed the nation's solidarity with the armed forces in their battle against terrorism.
