President Asif Ali Zardari has emphasized strengthening bilateral relations with Greece. He was talking to outgoing ambassador to Greece to Pakistan Konstantinos Moatsos who paid a farewell call on him in Islamabad today. Meanwhile, Country Director of Asian Development Bank Yong Ye also called on the President and briefed him about the role of the Bank in socio-economic development of Pakistan. The President appreciated the assistance provided by the Bank to Pakistan during floods. He highlighted the steps taken by Pakistan to deal with climate change including the mangrove forests grown on millions of acres of land.
