President Asif Ali Zardari has commended Pakistan Navy for conducting a successful, large-scale anti-narcotics operation in the North Arabian Sea. In a statement, the President appreciated the role of the Pakistan Navy in protecting Pakistan's maritime boundaries and countering illegal activities in the sea. He highly praised Pakistan Navy for seizing a large quantity of drugs from a suspected boat during a successful operation with the Combined Task Force 150 in the North Arabian Sea. He said the effective action of Pakistan Navy against the enemies of the country and criminal elements, reflects the professionalism of Pakistan Navy. Pakistan Navy ship PNS ZULFIQAR and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency ship PMSS KOLACHI participated in the joint operation. US Navy aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, US Coast Guard and Pakistan Navy aircrafts also provided assistance in the joint operation. Source: Radio Pakistan
