Quetta: President Asif Ali Zardari has paid tribute to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Balochistan for carrying out successful operations against terrorists in Quetta and Barkhan. In a statement, he appreciated the performance of the personnel who eliminated fourteen terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij during the operations.

According to Radio Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari also prayed for the speedy recovery of CTD officials who were injured during the exchange of fire. He said CTD Balochistan is playing a significant role in safeguarding the homeland against terrorism. The President reaffirmed that eliminating foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country remains the government's top priority.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has also commended the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Balochistan for their successful operation against Fitnah-al Khawarij in Quetta. The Prime Minister prayed for the recovery of three CTD personnel who were injured during the exchange of fire with terrorists.

Shehbaz Sharif stated that the CTD Balochistan is playing a significant role in the fight against terrorism. He expressed determination to completely eliminate all forms of terrorism from the country.
