President Dr Arif Alvi has called for a special focus on the development of human and natural resources in Gilgit-Baltistan. During a meeting with elected members of Gilgit-Baltistan Council in Islamabad today, he reiterated resolve for durable socioeconomic development of the region. Discussing the current situation and the problems faced by the region, the President stressed need to uplift agriculture and farming sectors in Gilgit Baltistan.
