President Zardari Extends Independence Day Greetings to Kyrgyzstan

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has conveyed his warm felicitations to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Zhaparov, and the people of Kyrgyzstan on the occasion of their Independence Day.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari emphasized the importance Pakistan places on its close and friendly relations with Kyrgyzstan, which are based on a shared history, cultural affinity, mutual trust, and close cooperation. In his letter, he highlighted these enduring ties and the mutual respect that underpins them.

President Zardari fondly recalled his visit to Kyrgyzstan in July, noting that it revived cherished memories from his earlier visit in 1995. He described the trip as an opportunity to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations. Additionally, he remembered President Sadyr Zhaparov's visit to Pakistan in December of the previous year, which also contributed to enhancing mutual cooperation.

The President expressed satisfaction with the productive discussions held during these visits, which reaffirmed the shared commitment of both countries to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest. He conveyed his desire to continue working closely with President Zhaparov to further enhance cooperation between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan for their mutual benefit.
