Islamabad: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of fabricating baseless and unfounded allegations regarding the court's decisions in cases related to the May 9 incidents. In a video statement, Chaudhry asserted that the founder and leadership of PTI were directly involved in orchestrating the violence that took place on May 9, 2023.

According to Radio Pakistan, Chaudhry highlighted that the acts of destruction, vandalism, attacks on defense installations, and desecration of martyrs' statues were not spontaneous. He claimed these actions were executed with full consultation and planning by PTI's leadership. He questioned where and under whose command these actions were coordinated and noted that PTI leadership had promised party tickets to participants in the protests.

Chaudhry condemned PTI's leadership for allegedly attempting to manipulate the justice system and evading accountability. He criticized the party for its continuous attempts to influence legal proceedings.

Addressing the issue of Aleema Khan's son, Chaudhry questioned the reasons behind his fleeing and remaining a fugitive for years, implying wrongdoing on his part.
