Lahore:Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif inaugurated Phase-II of the Livestock Card scheme today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the scheme aims to provide interest-free loans and other facilities to livestock farmers throughout the province.

These loans are intended to assist farmers in purchasing cattle feed, silage, and mineral mixtures to enhance animal nutrition and boost meat production. Farmers are responsible for repaying the principal amount, while the Punjab Government will cover the interest costs.
