Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed to speed up work on the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar project in the province. Chairing a meeting in Lahore, she emphasized that the primary aim of every initiative by the Punjab Government is to ensure progress and facilitation of people. She remarked that the 'Apni Chhat Apna Ghar' project represents a new beginning for underprivileged citizens.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, the Chief Minister was informed that a total loan of sixty point five billion rupees has been provided to fifty-one thousand nine hundred and eleven needy families for constructing their homes under this project. This initiative is part of the government's broader commitment to improving living standards and providing essential support to the population.
