Punjab Government Launches Second Phase of Internship Programme for Agriculture Graduates

Lahore: The second phase of the Chief Minister Punjab Internship Programme for young agriculture graduates has been launched. This initiative aims to provide practical experience and financial support to aspiring professionals in the agriculture sector.

According to Radio Pakistan, under this phase, 2,000 agriculture graduate interns will receive a monthly stipend of sixty thousand rupees. This financial assistance is expected to support the interns during their training period and encourage more graduates to participate in the programme.

Students with a B.Sc (Hons) in Agriculture or a B.Sc (Hons) in Agricultural Engineering are eligible to apply for the internship. The programme is designed to enhance their skills and prepare them for future opportunities in the agriculture industry.

Young agriculture graduates interested in the programme can submit their applications at the office of the Deputy Director Agriculture (Extension) in their respective districts. This decentralized approach aims to make the application process more accessible to graduates across the region.

To further facilitate applicants, an Agricultural Helpline number 0800-17000 has been activated under the Agriculture Graduates Internship Programme. This helpline is intended to provide necessary information and guidance to prospective applicants.
