Kasur: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has stated that the provincial government's timely arrangements were crucial in saving lives during the recent floods. She mentioned this during a briefing at a flood relief camp in Kasur.

According to Radio Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz Sharif praised the efforts of those involved in the relief operations and highlighted the importance of the measures taken to mitigate the impact of the floods. During her visit, she also announced a cash prize of ten lakh rupees for Rescue 1122, acknowledging their effective performance in handling the crisis.
