Doha: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, on an official visit to Qatar, met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al-Thani, in Doha. During his visit, General Mirza also held discussions with the Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces. According to Radio Pakistan, the meetings focused on the evolving regional dynamics, with both nations expressing a mutual commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation. General Mirza emphasized the strong brotherly relations between Pakistan and Qatar, reaffirming a commitment to further strengthening military-to-military cooperation in the defense and security sectors. The Qatari leadership recognized Pakistan's positive role in ensuring regional stability and commended the professionalism and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces in their fight against terrorism.
