Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to resolve all issues regarding Meta's operations in Pakistan. He issued these directions during a meeting with a delegation of Meta that called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday. The delegation was led by Meta's Vice President for Asia Pacific Simon Milner. Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said Pakistan has enormous potential in the fields of information technology and digital media. He said for the first time in the country's history, a record budget has been allocated for the promotion of information technology. The Prime Minister said Meta's expertise in information technology and artificial intelligence will be leveraged.
