Bangkok: The 2025 SEAMEO Executive Committee Meeting (SEAMEO EXCO), the 20th ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Education, and the 15th ASEAN Plus Three Senior Officials Meeting on Education were convened recently in Bangkok, Thailand.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the SEAMEO EXCO meeting was chaired by Doctor Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati binti Haji Tajuddin, who serves as the Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education. The meeting discussions focused on reports regarding the SEAMEO Secretariat's work plan, the results framework, and various proposals and reports related to projects or programs under SEAMEO.

Simultaneously, during the 20th ASEAN SOM-ED and the 15th ASEAN SOM-ED, the Permanent Secretary for Core Education emphasized the ongoing progress of activities spearheaded by the Ministry as part of the ASEAN Work Plan on Education 2021-2025.
