Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is taking steps to prevent smuggling and tax evasion. Track and trace system is being implemented by the government to prevent smuggling of cement, tobacco, fertilizer and sugar. The campaign aims to thwart illegal trading activities, increase revenue, enhance transparency and facilitate planning.
