Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Launch Fuel Subsidy Schemes for Motorcycle Owners

Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has launched a targeted motorcycle fuel support programme to provide relief to citizens amid rising petroleum prices. Addressing a news conference in Karachi today, he announced that registered motorcycle owners will receive a monthly subsidy of two thousand rupees. The Chief Minister said only those riders will qualify whose motorcycles are registered in their own name. Syed Murad Ali Shah announced that the motorcycle registration fee has been abolished. He said the subsidy amount will be transferred directly to the beneficiaries' bank accounts.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has also launched the Ehsaas Fuel Support Program to provide financial relief to motorcycle and scooter owners across the province. Under this program, eligible owners will receive two thousand rupees in financial assistance. A simple registration system has been introduced through the Dastak App.
