Minister for information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has stressed to promote the trend of reading and research in the society. He was addressing a ceremony after inaugurating Display Center of Directorate of Electronic media and publication at Pakistan-China Friendship Center in Islamabad on Monday. He expressed the confidence that the display center will help in reviving the diminishing trend of reading and research in the society. The Minister said the books placed in the center contain valuable content. He said that the youth who is greatly inclined towards the social media will be connected with their own foundations. Murtaza Solangi commended the performance of DEMP in publishing rare and best books. He said the books published under the banner of DEMP will also be placed in Lok Virsa, Shakarparian and local markets. Source: Radio Pakistan
