Islamabad: The water level in Rawal Dam has reached 1748.40 feet, prompting authorities to take precautionary measures. The spillways of the dam are scheduled to be opened tomorrow at 6:00 AM to manage the rising water levels.
According to Radio Pakistan, the gates will remain open until the water level is reduced to 1746.00 feet, with an estimated duration of approximately five hours. Authorities have advised the public to avoid unnecessary movement in the vicinity during this period. Additionally, fishermen and individuals involved in boating activities are instructed to stay clear of the water to ensure safety.
