Chitral: The historic three-day Shandur Polo Festival kicks off in the scenic Shandur valley of Chitral District tomorrow.

According to Radio Pakistan, Culture and Tourism Authority Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, all necessary arrangements have been finalized for holding the festival in a befitting manner.

The Shandur Polo Festival is considered the country's largest traditional polo festival, featuring thrilling matches between the teams of Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan. The event draws thousands of spectators each year to experience the historic competition.

These polo matches will be played at the highest polo ground in Shandur, located at an altitude of 12,500 feet.
