Tank:Three traffic police constables were killed and an officer was severely injured when unknown assailants opened fire on a traffic police vehicle in the Wazirabad area of Tank district.

According to Radio Pakistan, the injured police officer was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. In response to the attack, security forces have cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation to locate the attackers.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has condemned the attack, attributing it to Khawarij terrorists. He expressed deep grief over the loss of the three police personnel and extended his condolences to their families. The Interior Minister also praised the sacrifices of the police personnel, vowing that their efforts will not be in vain.
