Jhelum: Charg© d'Affaires of the Embassy of the United States, Natalie Baker, has visited the "Abdul Razzaq Welfare Trust Deaf Reach School" in Jhelum, a welfare organization dedicated to supporting hearing-impaired children.
According to Radio Pakistan, Natalie Baker's visit was facilitated by an invitation from the Minister of State for Finance and Railways, Bilal Azhar Kayani. During her visit, Baker was accompanied by Atif Rana and Sameen Rana, CEO and COO of Lahore Qalandars respectively, as well as international cricketer Haris Rauf.
The hearing-impaired children at the organization warmly welcomed Natalie Baker using sign language, and she reciprocated by expressing her gratitude with hand gestures. The event was attended by a large number of parents of hearing-impaired children.
The Abdul Razzaq Welfare Trust, managed by the family of Minister Bilal Azhar Kayani, has been providing free treatment, education, and training to hearing-impaired children for several years.
