World Food Program has expressed the desire to work for rehabilitation of flood affectees in Pakistan. The desire was expressed by Program's Country Director in Pakistan Coco Ushiyama during meeting with Minister for National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain in Islamabad today. The Country Director said the flood affected populations may face food shortage. Speaking on the occasion, Rana Tanveer Hussain extended government's support to World Food Program in this endeavor. He reiterated the government's priority to fulfill the food and nutritional needs of the flood affected people. Commending the role of WPF in Pakistan, Rana Tanveer Hussain said the Program is imparting skills training to our youth. Source: Radio Pakistan
