2nd Ministerial Meeting of OIC-15 Dialogue Platform Concludes in Tehran with ‘Tehran Declaration’ to Advance AI Efforts

Tehran: The 2nd Ministerial Meeting of the OIC-15 Dialogue Platform concluded in Tehran, Iran, with a unanimously adopted 'Tehran Declaration' aimed at advancing collective efforts in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting saw the participation of a COMSTECH delegation led by Coordinator General Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhary. High-level delegations from OIC-15 Platform countries, including Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Turkiye, and Qatar, were also in attendance.

The forum emphasized cooperation in AI education, research, infrastructure development, governance, technology transfer, and the exchange of knowledge among the OIC Member States. It highlighted the importance of collaborative research in tackling shared challenges such as healthcare, climate change, food security, and water-related issues.

The OIC-15 platform is a gathering of fifteen technologically advanced Islamic countries, aiming to foster technological and scientific collaboration.
