Islamabad: The second meeting of the Committee to Develop a National Private Equity Policy Framework was held in Islamabad today, with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb in the chair. The committee aims to strengthen Pakistan's private equity ecosystem and facilitate greater mobilization of domestic and international long-term capital for productive investment.

According to Radio Pakistan, the committee discussed various ways and means to ensure the sustainable growth of Pakistan's private equity market. It also agreed to continue working towards developing an overall National Private Equity Policy Framework.
