Islamabad: The 5th Pakistan Investment and Business Environment Exchange Forum 2026 was held in Guangzhou, China. The event focused on exploring new opportunities for bilateral trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Pakistan and China. According to Radio Pakistan, five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed during the forum. These agreements span across various sectors, including electric vehicles, battery manufacturing, construction materials, furniture, pine nuts, and medical and business tourism. The forum aimed to strengthen the economic ties between the two countries by fostering collaboration in these key industries. The forum also emphasized the potential for expanding industrial and infrastructure cooperation under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). This initiative is seen as a significant platform for enhancing economic connectivity and development between Pakistan and China.
