Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has said threat alerts have nothing to do with polling and general elections will be held on 8th of the next month. Talking to the media in Islamabad today, he said threat alerts are issued when there is a danger to people's lives. He said the relevant agencies are taking precautionary measures. The Minister said there is no such situation in the country, which can undermine holding of elections in the country. He said security issues had also been existed in the past. He said there were serious security concerns in 2008 and 2013. Murtaza Solangi urged the people to have trust in Allah Almighty and the capabilities of security agencies. Source: Radio Pakistan
