Karachi: The Government has announced a revision in the prices of petroleum products for the upcoming fortnight, reflecting the recent trends in global oil markets. This adjustment includes increases in some fuel prices while others see slight reductions. According to Radio Pakistan, a press release from the Finance Division detailed the changes: the price of petrol has been increased by Rs. 3.72 per litre, bringing the new price to Rs. 252.10. Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel has risen by Rs. 3.29 per litre, making its new price Rs. 258.43. Conversely, there is a slight relief in the prices of kerosene oil and light diesel oil. Kerosene oil has been reduced by Rs. 0.62 per litre, now costing Rs. 164.98, while light diesel oil has seen a decrease of Rs. 0.48 per litre, setting its new price at Rs. 151.73. These price changes have taken effect from today, aligning with the fluctuations observed in the international oil market.
