Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar stated that any kind of negative propaganda against national integrity, dignity of national institutions, and social harmony will not be tolerated at all. He expressed these views during a meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, matters of mutual interest, the overall law and order situation, and the positive role of media were discussed in detail during the meeting. Both ministers agreed to adopt a coordinated strategy to strengthen the state narrative, maintain an atmosphere of trust among the public, and combat fake information on social media.

The Interior Minister highlighted the commendable role of the media in establishing law and order and taking steps against terrorism. The meeting also emphasized the importance of promoting institutional harmony in the national interest.
