Islamabad: Pakistan and Azerbaijan have expressed satisfaction on the joint efforts to further strengthen their close and fraternal ties. The affirmation came as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
According to Radio Pakistan, the two leaders also reaffirmed the strategic partnership between the two countries. During the telephone conversation, they discussed areas of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation.
The leaders also expressed satisfaction at the active cooperation between the two countries at multilateral fora, particularly at the UN and OIC.
