Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi today visited the PIMS Hospital, Islamabad, to inquire after the health of injured personnel from the Rangers, Frontier Corps, and police. Director General Rangers Punjab Major General Muhammad Aatif accompanied the Interior Minister during the visit. According to Radio Pakistan, Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the importance of providing the best possible medical treatment to the injured personnel. He praised the high morale displayed by the security forces despite their injuries. In a show of support, the Interior Minister gave specific instructions for the immediate transfer of ASP Muhammad Aleem to Lahore for enhanced medical care. ASP Aleem suffered a severe eye injury caused by stone-pelting from miscreants and was being treated at PIMS Hospital.
