Islamabad to Launch ‘Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor’

Islamabad: Pakistan is set to introduce the 'Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor,' an initiative aimed at fostering educational ties between the two nations.

According to Radio Pakistan, the project includes the provision of 500 scholarships for Bangladeshi students to pursue higher education in Pakistan over the next five years. A significant portion of these scholarships, specifically one-quarter, will be designated for studies in the field of medicine. In addition to scholarships, the initiative also plans for the training of 100 Bangladeshi civil servants during the same timeframe.

Pakistan has also decided to expand the number of scholarships available to Bangladeshi students under its Pakistan Technical Assistance Program, increasing the allocation from five to twenty-five.
