Islamabad: National Highway Authority has initiated swift road restoration operations in the Northern Areas following severe weather disruptions. In his statement, Minister for Communication Abdul Aleem Khan said NHA teams have cleared multiple obstruction points at key highways, including the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad and Skardu-Jaglot Road.

According to Radio Pakistan, Abdul Aleem Khan lauded the NHA's prompt response and emphasized that restoring safe mobility for the public remains the government's top priority. Meanwhile, Federal Secretary Communications Ali Sher Mehsud stated that the NHA is committed to restoring all major highways at the earliest. He confirmed that travel towards Kaghan and Naran has now resumed.
