Pakistan, Ethiopia to Boost Environmental Protection Efforts

Islamabad: Pakistan and Ethiopia have agreed to further enhance the environmental protection projects with involvement of local community. The decision was taken during a meeting between Minister for Climate Change Mosaddek Malik and Ambassador Extraordinary of Ethiopia to Pakistan, Jamal Baker Abdullah.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two sides discussed the possibilities of cooperation between Ethiopia's 'Green Legacy Initiative' and Pakistan's 'Green Pakistan Program'. Both nations see opportunities for collaboration in these initiatives, aiming to address environmental challenges more effectively.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening mutual cooperation, emphasizing the importance of involving local communities in these environmental efforts. This collaboration is expected to bring together resources and expertise from both countries to tackle climate change and promote sustainable development.
