Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized Pakistan's commitment to expanding its cooperation with Saudi Arabia in all spheres, particularly in trade, investment, and economic development. He expressed these sentiments during a meeting with Saudi Minister for Finance Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, who visited him in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister welcomed the Saudi dignitary and conveyed his respects to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Shehbaz Sharif fondly recalled his recent telephone conversation with the Crown Prince, appreciating his deep affection for Pakistan and lauding Saudi Arabia's longstanding economic and financial support, which has contributed to Pakistan's economic stability.
The Prime Minister reiterated that the people and Government of Pakistan have consistently stood by their Saudi counterparts. He highlighted the enduring bond between the two nations, which has been strengthened under the Crown Prince's leadership.
The Saudi Finance Minister expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's commitment to further fortifying the fraternal ties between the two countries, as envisioned by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
