PM Shehbaz Sharif Begins Strategic Diplomatic Tour in Saudi Arabia

Jeddah: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Saudi Arabia on the first leg of his four-day, three-nation tour. He is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Syed Tariq Fatemi.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister and his delegation received a warm welcome upon their arrival at the airport. They were greeted by the Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, and Pakistan's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq.

In Jeddah, the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The discussions aim to focus on strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, as well as addressing regional developments.

Following the Saudi visit, the Prime Minister will travel to Qatar, where he will engage with the country's leadership. These meetings will concentrate on enhancing bilateral cooperation and exchanging views on regional peace and security.

The Prime Minister's tour will conclude with a visit to Trkiye, where he will participate in the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum. During the Forum, he will join the Leaders' Panel alongside other world leaders to present Pakistan's perspective. Additionally, bilateral meetings with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other key leaders are anticipated on the sidelines of the Forum.

Pakistan's participation in the Forum underscores its commitment to constructive diplomacy, multilateral cooperation, and meaningful engagement with the international community on issues of global importance.
